The team

You will be part of the Savings and Investments domain where we help customers secure their financial future. Our team is responsible for savings forecasts, the onboarding funnel for investments and pension products as well as what the customer sees in the Knab app. The products we offer to help our customers are savings and investments in Box 1 and Box 3.

The Savings and Investments domain never stands still and is driven by customer wishes, (internal) technological changes, innovation, the market and laws and regulations. The focus area is therefore large and versatile, which is why we are looking for a central product owner to strengthen the team! Your specific area of focus will be investment products both tax wrapped and not.

You will be the central product owner for 2 development teams, consisting each of 5 developers, a business analyst and a tester, and the IT Operations team of our domain, to keep the products and services working optimally, in line with our long-term goals and of course there to deliver our customers the surprising service they don’t expect.

Your peers will be the Customer Journey Experts for propositions, investments and savings, the investment managers and the pricing manager for savings. Your manager is the lead of the Savings and Investments domain.

Your responsibilities

As central product owner you are responsible for everything that happens with the investment accounts (Box 1 and 3) for all channels by which they are offered. In more detail: 

• You are responsible for the improvements that need to be made to reach our KPI’s;
• You will be an authority on how processes should work for our products in the end;
• You are responsible for the backlog of the teams and defining and implementing a strategy that will help grow our business;
• You are jointly responsible with the CJE’s for the processes associated with the products we offer;
• You will be responsible for the stakeholder management of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You are the spider in the web who can weigh up interests well and know how to coordinate in a timely manner;
• You know how to motivate yourself and the team, and it's not just about realizing innovations;
• You find the 'run activities' at least as important and you ensure that the certifications, audits and incident management are arranged properly and on time;
• You actively solve obstacles, in collaboration with key stakeholders;
• You contribute to a fun, informal working atmosphere. 

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills: 

• At least HBO working and thinking level; 
• You have experience in an Agile working environment, experience of scaled agile is a plus;
• You have experience in the financial sector, ideally you are someone who has experience with investing and all the processes associated with pension wrapped products;
• You have worked with development teams in the past, both in API design as well as business processes;
• You have experience with IT migrations to help us set up an IT end state for all our processes for each channel and product;
• You are a driving force, you see the targets that Knab sets as your targets too, be them commercial or technical;
• You are fluent in English.
