We are looking for a Reporting Specialist in our Human Rights & Social impact team who is passionate about social sustainability and reporting. Your job
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with knowledge of sustainable reporting legislation, especially the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive / EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive /European Sustainability Reporting Standards. You understand the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and their effect on the bank and how the UN Guiding Principles are being used in reporting regulations.
You play an essential role in developing the reporting practice in the broad scope of social impact and human rights. You oversee regulatory developments in the field of social impact and human rights and translate their impact into strategic and tactical advice and implementation, including the yearly Integrated Annual Report activities. Furthermore, you will be able to think along about meaningful targets and key performance indicators for the bank’s social impact and human rights activities. You will be involved in strategic projects, like the double materiality assessment of the bank, our quarterly risk reports or the bank’s social risk mapping. You will work closely together with and provide support to another reporting specialist in our team.
Working environment
The Sustainability Centre of Excellence is a department with approximately 50 FTEs and operates on a bank wide level. The department is managed by the Chief Sustainability Officer and is divided into sub-departments with a specialist focus (Climate, Inclusive Banking, Social Impact and Human Rights, Circular & Biodiversity) and a broad focus (Regulations & Stakeholder Management and Business Insight). You will report to the MT member that is responsible for two teams; (1) Inclusive Banking and (2) Social Impact and Human Rights. You will work in a team of 7 FTEs, which has social impact and human rights in its scope.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is not afraid to ask questions, works in a structured manner and deals with challenges in a proactive and decisive manner. You are critical, have a practical mindset and you do not allow others to derail you from your course. You like doing comprehensive analysis and know that “the devil is in the detail”. At the same time it is imperative that you can work as part of a team. Your role implies strong communication skills and stakeholder management and active participation in our dynamic team.
- Education: University Masters Degree or comparable level
- Experience: a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Sustainability, Reporting, Stakeholder management, preferably in the field of human rights and social impact
- Competences: analytical, result oriented, structured, decisive, tenacious
- Languages; Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Personal: purpose driven, passion to make impact for sustainability, team player (eco instead of ego).
We are offering
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget;
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits.
- If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month. Five weeks of vacation per year;
- You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year;
- Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000,-;
