The Team lead AB&C is responsible for managing approximately 10 AB&C analysts within the AB&C Investigations and Detection team. This team is responsible for handling reviews associated with AB&C triggers arising from processes involving customers and third parties potentially exposed to inherent AB&C risks.

You and your job

The Team lead AB&C is responsible for managing approximately 10 AB&C analysts within the AB&C Investigations and Detection team. This team is responsible for handling reviews associated with AB&C triggers arising from processes involving customers and third parties potentially exposed to inherent AB&C risks. You play a pivotal part in ensuring the bank’s adherence to AB&C requirements.

You monitor the performance of the team and the team members, you keep everyone motivated and inspired and create an environment that promotes positive communication, reaching the (individual) targets and foster innovation within the team.

You have a good overview of the entire FEC chain and all relevant business departments specifically the business processes that are prone to AB&C risks. You will make a meaningful contribution during multi-disciplinary meetings and represent the interests of your own team. You’re responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of your team and the department, implement HR management and realize team goals

You and your talent

  • A completed degree (HBO or university degree);
  • 6-8 years of AB&C investigative experience in the FEC domain;
  • Proven Financial services industry experience is required with a good understanding of AB&C principles
  • Thorough end to end understanding of the client and third parties lifecycle within financial institutions
  • Basic understanding of risk management and AB&C principles
  • Experience with performing investigations into AB&C related incidents
  • Reporting and management information
  • Relevant expertise of business economics and finances 
  • Relevant expertise of AB&C risks related to business processes and related policies
  • Relevant expertise in integrating data driven results into recommendations and/or policy contributing to the department’s AB&C adherence and objectives
