Together with a driven, young and enthusiastic team of analysts, you will protect the Rabobank and its stakeholders against misuse of our financial infrastructure. This requires responsibility with impact, which you shape as a Team lead Sanctions NTS.

You & your role

The Sanctions NTS team is around 70FTEs. As a team lead Sanctions NTS you are in charge of one of the four sub-teams with approximately 16 sanctions analysts. These analysts are responsible for monitoring the international payment transactions within the Rabobank. This means fast paced real-time assessments of large numbers of incoming and outgoing payments that may be in violation of sanctions laws and regulations. As a result, the world of sanctions is a very dynamic, constantly changing and no day will be the same as the day before. Next to leading the team you will be responsible for coordinating and/or attending multiple projects on behalf of the team.

In your role as a Team lead Sanctions NTS

  • It’s an advantage if you possess professional sanction knowledge;
  • You are a true manager who is characterized as driven, tenacious and able to get people moving;
  • You are the person who can stay calm under pressure by keeping your cool, weigh the pros and cons and make the right decisions for your team;
  • You monitor and coach the team to ensure the high standard on both quality and timeliness;
  • You have the ability to build a new team with driven analysts of different levels and backgrounds;
  • You manage contacts and relationships with various stakeholders within the Rabobank, both in the Netherlands as internationally.

You & your talent

  • You have a finished Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
  • You have three or more years of relevant leadership experience in the financial sector, preferably FEC Sanctions;
  • You have knowledge of Sanctions law and regulations;
  • You have a conceptual understanding of Sanctions models, list management and technical applications;
  • You speak English and preferably Dutch, your team will (primarily) consist of Dutch native speakers;
  • You have courage and show ownership;
  • You are stress resistant and eager to learn;
  • You can switch between tasks quickly and prioritize;
  • You show flexibility in a dynamic environment;
  • You like a challenge.

We offer you

  • Salary between €5.115,32 and €7.307,58 (salary scale 10, grading depends on knowledge and experience);
  • A 13th month and holiday allowance;
  • An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly income). How you use this budget is up to you. You can chose to buy extra holiday days, have an extra deposit into your retirement, have your budget paid out as extra salary, etc.;
  • € 1.400,00 budget for your personal development.
